Caitlin Nicholls

Clinical Nutritionist

Caitlin has always had an interest in food and how it can impact a person’s health.  She believes that making small changes, evolving with that change and accepting it as part of everyday life is what makes the health journey a positive experience no matter what the client’s health goals are.  Caitlin has had health concerns herself and has been striving to use food to help combat or lower the likelihood of further problems.  Her interest took her to study a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine) which included over 400 hours of clinical practise.  Dietary changes alongside changes in lifestyle can help bring to fruition the client’s individual goals.  She would be honoured to help you on your health journey with an individualised treatment plan.

"I have a holistic approach to a client’s health which entails making sure I collate the bigger picture of what is happening through all the systems of the body (digestive, musculoskeletal, reproductive, integumentary, neurological, urinary) to ensure the treatment plan I devise works together to produce the best outcome for my client.

I use evidence-based research to back up my suggestions for a client to include in their treatment plans and firmly believe that making small changes can make a big difference."

"It is all about balance as shown by my logo of the stones balancing on top of one another.  Instead of eliminating food (except in terms of food intolerances) it is about replacing these food items which may be causing damage with something more beneficial and the client feels better for it and not that they’re missing out.  Eating well most of the time means that there is room for treats so that the client doesn’t feel that they are missing out on a food item which they eat for joy."
